Yesterday my baby boy turned 5 years old. Where did the time go? I look back on his pictures and wonder where that toothless baby smiling went to. He is now in Pre-K, reading books at a first grade level and learning to write. My little Monkey loves watching Star Wars with Daddy, playing hide and seek with Grandma, joining his brother online playing Roblox, and sitting next to Mommy as I feed his sister hugging and kissing on both of us.
We had a classroom party (something I never got having a Summer birthday) bringing Star Wars cupcakes to share and everyone got a new Darth Vader pencil and sharpener. After school he opened his presents and I made his favorite dinner of tacos. He had such and exciting day that this morning he didn't get up until about 10 AM, (usually he is up the moment the sun is shining in his room).
Yesterday my baby girl turned 8 weeks old. It seems like only last week we brought her home. We guess she is about 12 pounds now after taking her on the scale with my husband then he weighed himself without her. She no longer fits into most of her 0-3 month clothes.
I wish I could slow time just a bit to enjoy this time a little bit longer.
Monday I go back to work after 9 weeks of not working. I do not want to, but finances deem it necessary, plus it is nice having health insurance. I worry about the baby since I will not be here to nurse her and will have to pump my milk at work. As I understand it I will be the only one in the whole building of several hundred pumping milk at work. It saddens me.

Good Day Sunday
So far today has been nice.
This morning we started a weekly responsibilty chart for the boys to earn computer time.
5 minutes for every task checked off, giving them a possible 60 minutes a day to play online.
They completed most of the tasks quickly and without major fuss. So far so good.

Mini Christmas Stockings
I am going to give this tutorial a try. I am aiming for a Homemade Christmas here at the homestead!
Will let you know if I am successful.

A Lazy Day
After sifting through various blogs, I decided to try it out.
The boys and I have spent today in our jammies. I didn't even brush my hair, (I did do my teeth though). It was a chilly morning and cool afternoon eating Thanksgiving leftovers and catching up on recent movies that I had missed in the theaters watching them on free movies channels on cable.
